Start from Bogd Khan Amralt. Walk through the Ger Camp and towards a newly build gate and from there uphill along the little creek. After about 1.5 to 2 hours you will reach on open space that is often well frequented by locals in summer. From there, take the little path to the west and after another 20-30 minutes you reach a hill and rock formation that is about 30 meters higher than the surrounding forests. From there, you have a good view to UB and the Tsetse Gun.
small trail and path that can get a bit muddy at times after rain or when snow melts in May and beginning of June. Some bits are relatively steep but not too difficult to climb up.
Easiest to reach from UB.

https://friendlypeaks.com/tsetsegunSnow until beginning of June on the higher slopes. Be careful when it rains as it can get very muddy. Also mind that temperatures can be 25 degrees in UB during mid day but fall by 1 degree per 100 meters up the mountain and fall by 1 degree per hour starting at 4 pm. So you could start your hike at 2 pm at 25 degrees, reach the top at 4.30 pm at 20 degrees and stay there until 6.30 and suddenly it is only 15 degrees.
